Manage Project Connections from the Project Overview

This feature is currently available to all customers in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States, and New Zealand. Users in other regions can access the Project Home. Please reach out to your Procore point of contact to request to enable this feature.

Objective

To manage and create project connections from the Project Overview.

Background

Project Overview helps users access important project information all in one place. You can access some Connection Manager features directly from Project Overview. All permissions in the Connectability tool automatically carry over to the Connectability dashboard in Project Overview. 

Things to Consider

Steps

  1. Click Project Tools and select Home to navigate to the Project Overview.
  2. Locate the 'Connected Project' card (section). 
  3. Actions available from the 'Connected Project' card:
    • Click Manage to open the project's Connection Manager tool.  See Connection Manager for more inforomation about connecting projects. 
    • View a list of any established project connections. Future functionality will have buttons for downstream companies to quickly access the connected content. 
    • Project Admins with a connection request to review,  can do that here without leaving Project Overview:
      1. Click Review Request 
      2. Click to select which content types you want to auto-share with the downstream project requesting the connection. 
      3. Click to either Accept or Reject the connection request.
