View Compounded Markup Details

Background

Procore provides a clearer way to identify which markups are being used in a calculation. You can now easily track which markups link to a Selective Compounding line, improving visibility into your calculations.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions: 

    • 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Financial Management tool.

  • The system displays the specific markup names and calculation types only when you use the selective compounding feature.

Prerequisites

The project must have existing vertical markups set up.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project-level Prime Contracts tool.

  2. Click the Number link for the contract you wish to modify.

  3. Click the Financial Markup tab.

  4. Click Edit next to the line item you want to modify.

  5. Under the Calculation Type drop-down menu, select Selective Compounding.

  6. Mark the checkboxes for the individual markups you want to include in the calculation..

  7. Click Confirm, then click Save.

Note: To verify, hover over the Calculation Type for that line. A tooltip will list the markups being compounded, such as 'Profit' or 'Insurance'.
