Enable User Access for Project Map (Beta)

The Project Map beta is available for Procore customers and can be accessed by opting into the new Procore Home Open Beta experience through Procore Explore. This feature is for web only at this time. 

Background

To view and access the Project Map, you will need to work with a Project Admin to enable the 'Maps' beta tool on a project level permissions templates. This is done within the project level Permissions tool.

Things to Consider

  • To enable the 'Maps' beta tool on a permissions template, you will need 'Admin' level permissions on the project level Permissions tool. 

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Permissions tool.
  2. Click the Company Permissions Templates tab.
  3. Next to the permissions template, click Actions and select 'Edit Template'.
  4. Find the Maps Beta permission and select the button under one of the following columns:
    • Read Only, Standard or Admin. Any of these will allow access to the Project Map for the user. 
      There is no difference between any of the above options. 
    • None. The user will not have have access to Project Map.
  5. Click Save.
