Close an Incident



To close an incident so that all responsible parties know that that the incident is no longer being investigated

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions: 'Admin' users can close any incident. 'Standard' users can close incidents that they've created.


  1. Navigate to the Incidents tool.
  2. Click Edit next to the incident you want to close.
  3. Change the status to Closed by clicking on the drop-down menu next to the Status field.
  4. Click Update.
