To close an incident so that all responsible parties know that that the incident is no longer being investigated
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions: 'Admin' users can close any incident. 'Standard' users can close incidents that they've created.
- Navigate to the Incidents tool.
- Click Edit next to the incident you want to close.
- Change the status to Closed by clicking on the drop-down menu next to the Status field.
- Click Update.
