Add Adjustments to an Estimate

Objective

To add adjustments to your estimate.

Things to Consider

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Bid Board or Portfolio Planning tool and select the project.
    OR
  2. Navigate to the project's Estimating tool.
  3. Click the Estimating tab. 
  4. In the 'Summary' section, locate the 'Post-tax Markups' section.
  5. Click the add icon-plus.png icon.
    1. Enter the markup name.
    2. Select the type.
      • Lump Sum. A fixed total amount applied regardless of individual quantities or unit costs.
      • Basic Calculation. Percentage amount, multiplied by the pre-tax estimate sub total.
    3. Enter the percentage or amount.
    4. Click Create.
 Tip

After you have added an adjustment, you can make the following changes by clicking the vertical ellipsis icon-ellipsis-vertical.png for the adjustment.

  • Select Copy to copy the adjustment.
  • Select Edit to edit the adjustment.
  • Select Delete to delete the adjustment.
