View 360 Photos from Drawings Tool

Background

360 photos capture the entire surrounding environment from a single location, allowing you to interactively view and inspect job site progress in every direction from within your project's Photos tool. 360 photos is linked to drawing photo pins directly within the project's Photos tool.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions: 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the project's Drawings tool and Photos tool.

  • The Photos tool must be enabled on the project.

  • A 360-degree photo must be pinned to a drawing in the project's Drawings tool.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Drawings tool.

  2. Click the Info Icon Info3 icon next to the drawing you want to view. OR
    Click the Drawing Number next to the drawing.

  3. Click View on the top-right. This opens the viewer screen. 

  4. Click the photo pin on the drawing. 

  5. Select the linked photo to see the 360 view. 

  6. Click Open in Photos. The photo opens in a new tab within the Photos tool, where you can click and drag to view the image in 360 degrees. 

Note: You can also view the description, project data (album, trades, and location), and photo metadata (taken on, uploaded on, uploaded by, and file name) in the left panel.
