Export a List of Coordination Issues

Objective

To export a list of coordination issues from the Coordination Issues tool.

Background

The Export feature generates a shareable list of coordination issues, their key details, and visual snapshots. This is useful for archiving project data, sharing progress with stakeholders who are not in the system, or for further analysis in other software. You can generate this report in BCF, CSV, or PDF formats to suit your specific needs.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Standard' level permissions or higher on the project's Coordination Issues tool.
  • Supported Export File Formats:
    • BIM Collaboration Format (BCF)
    • Comma-Separated Values (CSV)
    • Portable Document Format (PDF)
    • PDF with Activity
  • Additional Information:
    • You can search for and filter coordination issues to narrow down the list of coordination issues included in the export. See Search for and Filter Coordination Issues
    • Exports of BCF files will only export items that contain viewpoints.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Coordination Issues tool on app.procore.com.
  2. Optional: Use the Search of Filters feature to find the specific issues to export.
  3. Click Export and select an option from the menu:
    • BCF. Provides .bcfzip file, which is a structured set of folders and files for coordination issues.
    • CSV. Provides a detailed, spreadsheet-formatted log of the project's coordination issues that reflects the table layout.
    • PDF. Provides a standard PDF report showing a clean, formal summary of coordination issues.
    • PDF with Activity. Includes all the information of a standard PDF plus a detailed activity log.
  4. A banner at the top of the page confirms that the system will send the export file to your Procore email address. Depending on the file size, this can take several minutes.
    Examples

This is an example 'PDF with Activity' for a single coordination issue, which shows the detailed activity log.
