Assist Availability

Procore Assist is available to North American customers with the required toolset. They can enable additional beta features as they become available. International customers with the required toolset can enable one or both beta experiences: Assist in Global Search or additional beta features. Assist currently only answers questions in English with U.S. construction terminology. See Enable Assist to activate Assist or its beta features.

Assist is Procore's AI-driven assistant. It can respond to questions asked in a conversational style, like the kind of question you might ask a coworker. You can find Assist in your project's search bar.

Beta Features

Assist Availability

Procore Assist is available to North American customers with the required toolset. They can enable additional beta features as they become available. The following beta features are available on an opt-in basis in addition to the generally available feature set in North America and the international core beta experience:

Assist in Side Panel

Procore's new Side Panel offers easy access to Assist across multiple screens throughout the Procore web application. 

Capabilities of Assist in Side Panel

  • Continue the conversation. Ask Assist follow-up questions.
  • Access Assist from a new location. On supported screens, click the Assist icon to engage with Assist in the Side Panel.
  • Threads. Keep your conversation history with Assist organized with threads. Start a new thread when you want to start your conversation fresh. Visit your thread history to view previous conversations.

Limitations of Assist in Side Panel

  • Available on select screens only. The side panel is not yet supported across all screens in the Procore web application. The side panel and the Assist icon will only be visible on select screens. Broader support will become available soon.

Best Practices for Assist in Side Panel

  • When changing topics, start a new thread to receive the most accurate results. To start a new thread, click 'Clear Thread' and ask another question.

Procore Assist Reports Expansion (08/15/2025) 

Procore Assist provides answers to quantitative questions and creates editable, savable reports. Assist can now access data from all Procore tools in the Financials, Resource Management, Project Execution, and Directory datasets. Assist users with Standard or higher permissions in Procore’s 360 Reporting tool can access data from tools where they have the required permissions. REBRAND: ‘COPILOT’ IS NOW ‘ASSIST’ WITH the SAME FUNCTIONALITY (06/20/2025)

Procore’s beta AI service ‘Copilot’ is now called ‘Assist’ across all Procore web and mobile products. Functionality remains the same, so you can continue to interact with Procore AI via the global search bar and side panel. This rebrand highlights the unique way Assist can help you find project information, use Procore tools, and draft reports efficiently within the application. Over the next week, Procore is replacing ‘Copilot’ with ‘Assist’ in the support documentation to match the product. Learn more about Procore Assist.

Copilot can Answer Questions About More Tools (04/21/2025)

Copilot can now find information from more tools in Procore. The new tools it can help answer questions about are: Correspondence, Emails, Daily Log, Instructions, Meetings, Tasks, and Transmittals.

For now, Copilot can't use its Reports skill to create reports about these tools. It can find information for you from them that doesn't require data aggregation. Copilot Is Generally Available in North America (03/13/2025)
