Manage Attachments for People in Resource Planning
Objective
To add, view, or delete attachments for people managed in Resource Planning.
Background
For projects using Resource Planning, you can manage your team using the People List. You can attach documents associated with members of your team.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions
- By default, notes can be viewed by anyone with permissions to 'View People Attachments'.
- Deleting attachments is permanent and cannot be recovered by Procore.
- If data syncs are enabled:
- Attachments are NOT attached to user or contact profiles in the Company Directory.
Prerequisites
Steps
When managing attachments, you can take the following actions:
Add Attachments
- Navigate to the Company level Resource Planning tool.
- Click People and select People List.
- Click the person's name.
- Under the 'Overview' tab, locate the 'Attachments' section.
- Click Add Attachments.
- Select the file to upload.
- Click Save.
View Attachments
- Navigate to the Company level Resource Planning tool.
- Click People and select People List.
- Click the person's name.
- Under the 'Overview' tab, locate the 'Attachments' section.
- Click the attachment name.
- Click Download.
- Open the downloaded file locally on your device.
Delete Attachments
- Navigate to the Company level Resource Planning tool.
- Click People and select People List.
- Click the person's name.
- Under the 'Overview' tab, locate the 'Attachments' section.
- Click Edit.
- Click the X next to the attachment.
- Click Remove File to confirm.
