Configure Equipment Telematics Connection for Samsara

Objective

To configure your Samsara equipment connection to view telematics information in the Equipment tool.

Background

In the company's Equipment tool settings, you can connect your Samsara account so that equipment telematics data can be viewed in the Equipment tool in Procore. See View Equipment Details in the Company Equipment Tool.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions
  • Telematics information updates if the equipment record in your Procore and Samsara accounts have the same serial number.
  • Procore currently supports telematics connections with the following brands:
    • Caterpillar
    • John Deere
    • Samsara

Steps

  1. Navigate to the company's Equipment tool.
  2. Click the configure settings icon-settings-gear-grey3.png icon.
  3. Click the Telematics Connections.
  4. Click Connect.
  5. In the App Installation window, select Procore as the organization to which you want to provide access.
  6. Select any tags to restrict access to.
  7. Click Allow.
