React to a Message in the Conversations Tool
Background
Message reactions allow you to quickly acknowledge updates and express alignment in Direct Messages, Group Conversations, and Item Conversations without sending full text replies. Using reactions keeps conversation threads clean, reduces thread noise, and minimizes unnecessary unread message notifications across your project team.
Things to Consider
-
Required User Permissions: 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions to the Conversations tool, or access to the specific project item (RFI, Submittal, Punch List, etc.) supporting Conversations.
-
Reaction Limit: You can only have one active emoji reaction per message. Selecting a new emoji automatically replaces your previous reaction.
-
Visibility: Reactions and reaction counts are visible to all members of the conversation in real-time. Hovering over a reaction bubble reveals who reacted.
-
Platform Availability: Available on the Procore web application.
