Manage App Install Requests

Background

Company administrators receive an email notification each time a user makes a request to install an App from the Procore Marketplace. If a company administrator decides to approve the request, they install the App on behalf of the user.

This tutorial explains how Procore users make an app install request and how company admin can respond. 

Steps

Marketplace App Install Request from Non-Admin

A non-company-admin Procore user can request the installation of an app to the company's Procore account:

  1. Log in to the Procore Marketplace.
  2. Click on the desired app.
  3. Click Request App.
  4. Optional: Add a comment with the request.
  5. Click Submit.
    All company administrators of that account receive an email about the request. 

Respond to a Marketplace App Install Request as a Company Admin

All company administrators receive an email when a user requests the installation of a Marketplace app onto the company account. The company admin either installs the app on behalf of the user or denies the request by not installing the app.

  1. Open the notification email, which has the following components:
    • Sender: no-reply@procore.com 
    • Subject line format:  <<requestor_email>> requested to access or install <<app name>> on <<company name>> 
  2. Review the request, including any notes the user added to explain it.
  3. To approve the request, navigate to the Procore Marketplace to install the app.
