Recent Changes

New Web-Based Standalone Locations Tool (10/13/2026) 

Procore has launched the Locations tool that transforms location management into a dedicated, interactive spatial hub. This new tool helps you know what’s happening and where – on every project. Key highlights of the tool include:

  • Dedicated Navigation: Locations is now a standalone tool in the navigation menu with geospatial mapping capabilities and an overview of associated project items.

  • Tool Support: The Locations Details page integrates with Action Plans, Coordination Issues, Incidents, Inspections, Observations, PDM (tagged documents), Photos, Project Map, Punch List, RFIs, and Submittals.

  • Granular Permissions: New permission settings allow granular control over key actions: Create locations, Edit locations, Import locations, Delete locations, Export locations, Print QR Code of locations, and Add location geometry. To learn more, see Locations (Web).
