Models (iOS)
The Models tool on the Procore iOS app allows users to easily view and reference 3D models while using a mobile device on the field. This helps ensure that teams have access to the current version of a model, reducing installation errors and increasing productivity.
See Models for Procore Web to learn how to publish and manage models in Procore.
Augmented Reality
When you open the Models tool, the interface remains the same. If you have pushed grids from Revit to a published model, a grids icon will appear, allowing you to see these grids in augmented reality.
While in augmented reality, you can do the following:
- Change Render Modes
- Hide architectural or structural elements in the object tree
- Create a coordinate issue or observation
- Show or hide grid lines
Compatible Mobile Devices:
- Any iPad model (iPad, iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad Mini) or iPhone model that meets the current software requirements for the Procore iOS app. See iOS Requirements. Note: If your model files are larger than 1.75GB, you might want to consider using an iPad Pro, which has a greater amount of RAM and can handle larger files more easily.
