Set up Xero Tracking Categories for Projects
Objective
To create the Tracking Category "Project".
Background
In order for Xero to link Procore and Xero data, the integration uses a tracking category called "Project".
Things to Consider
- You will need permissions to create tracking categories in Xero.
- Xero is limited to two active tracking categories at a time. You must ensure that one of these is "Project".
Steps
- Log into Xero and go to Settings -> General Settings -> Tracking.
- Click on "Add a Tracking Category".
- Name it "Project".

- Now you can integrate projects between Procore and Xero.
