How are Action Plans Item Statuses Updated
Background
Action Plans item statuses are used to track the individual progress of Action Plan items and give you a high-level view of the completion progress of the entire Action Plan.
There are four (4) unique statuses available for Action Plan items:
- Open
- In Progress
- Closed
- Delayed
Answer
Action Plan item status will automatically change from 'Open' to 'In Progress' when:
- The first Record has been added to the item
- The first signature is added to the item but there are remaining required signatures
Action Plan item status will automatically change from 'Open' or 'In Progress' to 'Closed' when:
- The item's signature requirement is met
The status of an Action Plan item can be manually changed to 'Open', 'In Progress', or 'Delayed' at any time.
Action Plan item status can only be manually changed to 'Closed' once all required signatures have been captured.
