Export Documents as a PDF or CSV

Objective

To export a folder's contents as a PDF or CSV file in the Documents tool.

Background

Procore allows you to export the file names of a folder in the Documents tool as a PDF or CSV so you can print and distribute it.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions: 'Read-only', 'Standard', and 'Admin' level permissions on the Documents tool.
  • The following fields will appear on the Documents tool CSV:
    • The name of the file
    • The folder path of the file
    • Who the file was uploaded/created by
    • When the file was uploaded/created on


      The following fields will appear on the folder's PDF
      • The project's logo
      • The Company's name
      • The Company's address
      • The Company's phone number
      • The PDF or CSV printed date
      • The name of the folder
      • The names of all the files in the folder
      • Who the file was uploaded/created by
      • When the file was Uploaded/Created on
      • The version number
      • Comments the uploader added when he or she uploaded the file
      • A link to the file in Procore or a download link

Steps

To export a folder's contents as a PDF or CSV

  1. Navigate to the Project level Documents tool.
  2. Click on the folder you wish to export in the file tree to the right.
  3. Click Export.
  4. Click PDF or CSV to export the folder's contents you are viewing to a PDF or CSV, respectively.
     

To export a filtered list of documents/folders as a PDF or CSV 

  1. Navigate to the Project level Documents tool.
  2. If you wish, search for keyword or filter your log by when it was uploaded/created, who it was uploaded/created by, who it was transferred by, and whether you would like to search the recycle bin using the 'Filter Documents by' section on the right side of the log page.
  3. Click Export.
  4. Click PDF or CSV to export your filtered list to a PDF or CSV, respectively.
