Integration by Procore: Export a PCCO to Viewpoint® Spectrum®

Objective

To export a Prime Contract Change Order (PCCO) to Viewpoint® Spectrum®.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  • 'Standard' or 'Admin' on the company's ERP Integrations tool.
    AND
  • The person's account must be granted the 'Can Push to Accounting' privilege in the Company Directory. See Grant Accounting Approver Privileges.
• Prerequisites:
  • Contact Support to turn this capability on. 
  • The ERP Integrations tool must be enabled on the company account.  See Integration by Procore: Request to Connect Procore and Viewpoint® Spectrum®.
  • The ERP Integrations tool must be configured to work with Integration by Procore. See Viewpoint® Spectrum®: Setup Guide.
  • The Prime Contracts tool must be enabled on the project(s) that you want to sync. See Add and Remove Tools on a Project.
  • Import the prime contract from Viewpoint® Spectrum® into Procore. See Integration by Procore: Import a Viewpoint® Spectrum® Prime Contract into Procore.
• Requirements:
  • The Date field on a PCCO is required.
  • The Billing Item Code on a PCCO must be 10 characters or less.
  • The PCCO must be in the 'Approved' status.
  • For each associated line item that you add to the change order's Schedule of Values (SOV), you may designate a unique associated Prime Contract line item, or the same associated Prime Contract line item for all change order line items.  Note: The Associated Line Item is only visible and available when the ERP Integrations tool has been configured to work with Viewpoint® Spectrum® and the export prime contract change orders capability has been switched on in Procore by your Integration Implementation Specialist.

   

Steps

Follow these steps to use the Integration by Procore to export a PCCO created in Procore to Viewpoint® Spectrum®:

1. Create a PCCO for a synced prime contract using one of these methods:
   • Create a Potential Change Order for a Prime Contract
   • Create a Prime Contract Change Order
2. Integration by Procore: Send a PCCO to ERP Integrations for Accounting Acceptance
   • Integration by Procore: Retrieve a PCCO from ERP Integrations Before Export to Viewpoint® Spectrum®
   • Integration by Procore: Resend a Rejected PCCO to ERP Integrations for Accounting Acceptance
     Note: Ensure all changes are updated in the PCCO before the data is accepted for export to  Viewpoint® Spectrum® by an accounting approver.
3. Integration by Procore: Accept or Reject a PCCO for Export to Viewpoint® Spectrum®
