90 Engineering Design Review Checklist
Objective
The 90% Engineering Design Review Checklist is a much abbreviated version of the 60% Engineering Design Review Checklist to make sure that all recommended changes have been properly incorporated into the design. It is followed by submitting all redlines back to the Contracted Designer via the (Gas) Contracted Design Transmittal.

NOTE:
- Steps of the process flow MAY be excluded under the following conditions:
- Exclude Pipeline Ops:
- Under 3" PE Poly pipe with no weld on fittings
- 4" PE below 1000' runs
- Replacing Cathodic Cables medium pressure pipe with no fitting required
- PCF's on medium pressure equal to 2" or below
- Exclude Cathodic Protection:
- Poly replacement with no cathodic

- Completed submittal should look like below:

- The next person/group in the submittal workflow would go to Forms and open the 90% Engineering Design Review Checklist to complete their section.

- Cathodic Protection, Pipeline Ops, and Welding only need to enter their name and put a date beside it if all is good. If the design does not conform to suggested corrections, they should not complete the Form, but instead go back to the submittal and respond with Revise and Resubmit. The FUS or PM should close the submittal, make the corrections and create a revision on the submittal. The workflow in the revised submittal should only include the users/groups who have not yet responded on the form.

- If all is good with the design, the submittal responder should to the the submittal and open it by entering on the title.

- They should click the Respond button.

- They should not have to attach any files unless requesting for changes. Either way, they would click Next.

- They would select their response from the dropdown, add comments only if necessary, and click Preview.

- The next screen will give a preview, and if satisfied, they would click Respond.

Once the design review and submittal workflow are completed, you must close the submittal and return the marked up design to the design contractor via a (Gas) Design Contracted Transmittal marked for 90% from the Correspondence tool of the project. Instructions are HERE.
