100 HP Engineering Design Review

Objective

This process for all high pressure (and requested medium pressure) designs provides a final engineering review at 100% design before being sent for construction. It is followed by submitting all redlines back to the Contracted Designer via the (Gas) Contracted Design Transmittal.

Steps

• From the Project Tools dropdown in your project, select Submittals.

• Once on the Submittals home page, click the +Create button and select Submittal from the dropdown.

• Complete the following fields:
  • Title - title as 100% HP or MP engineering design review 
  • Received Contractor - select company creating design
  • Responsible Contractor - should narrow down results once Responsible Contractor is chosen. Select appropriate designer.
  • Type - 100% HP Engineering Design Review
  • Attachments - attach 100% design
  • High Pressure Project - check this box because it us high pressure
  • Description - add any relevant notes here
  • Submittal Workflow:
    • Step 1 should be Region Engineering. The will assign a specific engineer to review.
    • Step 2 should be YOU for the return.
  • Distribution List - add any team members relevant
• Click the Create & Send Emails button at the bottom right.

• Region Engineering will assign a specific engineer to review and respond back to you with comments. 

Once the design review and submittal workflow are completed, you must close the submittal and return the marked up design to the design contractor via a separate  (Gas) Contracted Design Transmittal correspondence marked for 100% in the Correspondence tool of the Project. Instructions are HERE.
