New Project Setup
Purpose: Properly configure new projects for handoff to project team.
ERP Integration:
- Add project to procore. Ensure correct template applied for the project client and type
Core Tools:
Admin:
- Set Project Stage, dates, and value
Directory:
- Add PM, APM, Superintendent (if known)
- Assign roles to user
- Bulk add vendors to the job (for manpower entries)
- Create any unique distribution groups
Documents:
- Upload Toolbox Talks (pc share>Marketing>Toolbox Talks)
- Delete extra files in the "Concrete" file and the "Confined Space" file (I don't know whats happening)
- Make sure that any folders that need to be private are private
Project Management:
Inspections:
- Import company inspection templates
- Create inspection schedules
Schedule:
- Make sure the schedule is uploaded from the Procore drive if applicable
- If % complete from mobile is desired:
- Project Schedule Settings>Schedule Settings>Allow Schedule Tasks to be updated via the Procore mobile app
- If % complete from mobile is desired:
Daily Log:
- Set default distribution
- Onboard new superintendent
Workforce Management:
Timesheets:
- Set the default lunch time to 30 minutes
