ESTIMATING

Okland's Estimating process begins in WinEst and is reviewed in a custom Excel spreadsheet for sub bid comparisons. Upon review, the estimate is transferred into the job cost (budget) after project start up . This process starts in the cost model phase and becomes more detailed and finalized throughout the following phases: schematic design, design development, and the GMP.
