Machine-Install Procore Drive

Objective

To install Procore Drive so that it can be accessed by anyone who logs into the computer or has access to the server.

Background

In Windows, you can either install Procore Drive to a computer (to be accessed by anyone using the computer), or you can install the program on a server to be accessed remotely by individual users in the company. By default, when Procore Drive is installed locally on a computer. See Setup Guide.

Larger companies might want to install Procore Drive on a server (i.e. machine-install) that many different employees can have access to. This way, the company’s IT department won’t have to install and keep up-to-date several different instances of Procore Drive on many different computers. In order to do this, you need to download the machine-install version of Procore Drive.

Things to Consider

  • In order to install Procore Drive to your machine, you will need the machine's admin password.
  • If you are looking to install Procore Drive to a specific user account instead, please see Setup Guide.
