The migration primarily consolidates data to ensure compatibility with future 2.0 features.

  • Understanding the Migration

When you initiate the migration, the system follows these rules:

    • Column Consolidation: Existing columns with identical definitions, names, and settings are consolidated into a single column. Any variations (e.g., different subtotal settings or formula differences) are treated as unique. However if you have multiple columns of the same name and definition and they all are visible on the same view, we do not consolidate and keep these separated.

    • Ignored Columns: Any custom column that is currently not in-use (not visible or used by a visible calculated column) is ignored and not migrated.

    • Snapshots: Existing budget and forecast snapshots remain fully accessible in the new experience.

    • Migration Timing: Depending on the number of views, the process can take between 1 and 10 minutes.

  • Reporting & Workflow Mapping
    • Your legacy reporting settings transition into the new "Reportable" column status as follows:

      Legacy Setting/Action

      New Experience Status

      Procore Reporting View Columns

Automatically designated as Reportable in the new builder.

Adding a Column to Single Tool Reports

Users must select the column in the builder and toggle the Reportable setting.

      Limit for Reportable Columns

Remains at a maximum of 60 columns per company.

      Workflow Column Assignment

Managed via the Workflows navigation tab rather than within a specific view.
