View a Correspondence Item (iOS)

Objective

To view a correspondence item in a project's Correspondence tool using the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    • To view a correspondence item not marked as 'Private':
      • 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the correspondence type.
    • To view a correspondence item marked 'Private':
      • 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the correspondence type and access to the correspondence item as its creator, an Assignee, Distribution List member, or added in the Received From field.
      • OR
      • 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permissions on the correspondence type with the 'View Private Items Accessible to Users within Same Company' granular permission enabled on your permissions template if another user in your company has access to the correspondence item as its creator, an Assignee, Distribution List member, or was added in the Received From field.
      • OR
      • 'Admin' level permissions on the correspondence type.
    • To view a correspondence item marked 'Private' created with a 'Super Private' correspondence type:
      • 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the correspondence type and access to the correspondence item as its creator, an Assignee, Distribution List member, or added in the Received From field.
      • OR
      • 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permissions on the correspondence type with the 'View Private Items Accessible to Users within Same Company' granular permission enabled on your permissions template if another user in your company has access to the correspondence item as its creator, an Assignee, Distribution List member, or was added in the Received From field.
      • OR
      • 'Admin' level permissions on the correspondence type and you are (or another user in your company is) the correspondence item's creator, an Assignee, Distribution List member, or added in the Received From field.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the project's Correspondence tool using the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.
  2. Optional: Search and Filter Correspondences (iOS).
  3. Tap the correspondence item to view its summary.
