Compare Specifications (Android)

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:

    • 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Specifications tool.

Steps

You can compare different specification revisions or separate specification sections on your Android device:

  1. Open a specification section in the Specifications tool on your Android device.

  2. Tap the More Options menu in the top toolbar and select Document Compare.

  3. Choose your preferred comparison mode:

    • Tabbed: Switches between the original and comparison versions using top tabs.

    • Overlay: Places both documents on top of each other with visual color highlights.

  4. Search for or select the specification section or revision to compare against and tap Compare.

  5. To exit the comparison view, tap the More Options menu and select Exit Comparison.

     Note
    If a specification section has no uploaded revisions, Overlay comparison mode is disabled and only Tabbed mode can be selected.
