Create Coordination Issues from a Model (Android)

Objective 

To quickly create coordination issues from a model on the Procore Android app.

Things to Consider 

  • Required User Permissions:
    • 'Read Only' or 'Admin' permissions to the Models tool.
      AND
    • 'Standard' or 'Admin' permissions to the Coordination Issues tool.
  • Additional Information:
    • The Coordination Issues tool is not yet available on Procore's Android app. After you create an issue, you will be prompted to open the issue in the browser on your mobile device in order to view or edit information.

Prerequisites

  • At least one model must have been published to the Procore project. See Publish a Model to Procore.
  • The Coordination Issues tool must be active on the project.

Steps 

  1. Navigate to the Models tool on the Procore app using an Android mobile device.
  2. Tap the model you want to open.
    Note: If you have not downloaded the model to your device yet, tap Download.
  3. Locate the area of the model that you want to create a coordination issue for.
  4. Tap the Create icon-models-create-mobile.png icon.
  5. Tap Coordination Issue
    Note: The following data is automatically added to the coordination issue:
    • 'Field Issue' for the Title field.
    • The location of the portion of the model for the Location field.
    • Your name in the Assignee field.
    • A snapshot of the portion of the model.
    • A snapshot showing your location in the 2D navigation indicator.
    Optional: Fill out the following information as necessary:
    • Description: Enter a description for the issue.
    • Camera/Library
      • Tap Camera to take a photo to attach.
      • Tap Library to attach a photo from your device.
    • Location: If you need to change the location, select a different location from the menu.
    • Assignee: If you need to change the assignee, select a different user from the menu.
    • Due Date: Select a due date from the menu.
  6. Click Create.
    Note: The coordination issue is automatically created.
