Scan an Equipment QR Code (Android)

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions

  • QR Codes must be scanned with QR reader for the Equipment tool in the Procore mobile app.

  • You must give the Procore mobile app permission to access the camera on your mobile device.

  • If Location Services are enabled on your mobile device, the GPS location of your mobile device is used to update the location of the equipment.

    • When the device is offline, the last-known location is captured at scan time and synced to the server when the device comes back online.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the QR Code Scanner using the Procore app on an Android mobile device.

    1. Navigate to the Equipment tool.

      1. Tap the QR code Icon Qr Mobile icon.

    2. Navigate to the camera tool Icon Camera Mobile.

      1. Tap the link below the QR code on your screen.

  2. Point your camera toward the QR code to scan it and show the equipment details.

  3. Optional: Continue your workflow by taking the following actions:
