Permissions
If this is your first time using QR code stickers at the project or company level, you will need to work with a Company Admin to enable 'Assignable QR Codes' on your company and/or project level permissions templates. This is done within the company level Permissions tool.
Things to Consider
- To enable 'Assignable QR Codes' on a permissions template, you will need 'Admin' level permissions on the company level Permissions tool.

- Next to the permissions template, click Actions and select 'Edit Template'.
- Find the Assignable QR Codes permission and select the button under one of the following columns:
- None. Users in that group won't be able to scan and/or access QR-linked items, even if they have other tool permissions.
- Read Only or Standard. Scanning the QR code will only route users to the linked tool item if they already possess the necessary viewing permissions. Without these permissions, users will receive an error message.
- Admin. This will allow anyone in the Assignable QR Codes group to assign (link), edit, or unassign (unlink) QR code stickers to the company and project tool items they have access to.
