About the Standalone Procore Estimating Application
Overview
Procore Estimating is a cloud-based estimating and takeoff solution that offers powerful estimating functionality. The standalone application (estimating.procore.com) integrates with Procore’s Preconstruction products to offer greater accuracy in cost estimates, helping general contractors and specialty contractors to win more bids, increase productivity, and reduce risk throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Through this integration, Procore customers gain the ability to perform a detailed takeoff and estimate on project plans and push budgetary numbers back into Procore. With this “Embedded Experience,” Procore customers are able to perform a takeoff and generate an estimate without leaving the Procore interface. Budgetary numbers are automatically updated, and broken out by cost code or cost type. Drawings are automatically synchronized to Procore Estimating, so customers are always using the latest version, and able to visually compare changes in the Takeoff interface.
