Import a ERP Sub Job to a Procore Project

Objective

To import an 'Sub Job' from CMiC as a 'Sub Job' in a Procore project.

Background

In CMiC, users have the option to implement a costing level called a “Sub Job'. This permits users to isolate special cost areas, without having to disassociate them from the primary job.

If you have created a 'Sub Job' in CMiC, you can import it into your Procore project. Before the synchronization process add the 'Sub Job' to your Procore project, the information will appear in the 'Sub Jobs' tab of the company's ERP Integrations tool. A Procore user with the required user permission can the add the information to Procore using the steps below.

Synchronized data will include the following:

  • Sub Job Cost Codes
  • Sub Job Categories
  • Original Estimate
(Note: The original estimate will only display if the budget is unlocked.)

After you have added the Sub Job to Procore, you will be able to add the corresponding cost codes to the schedule of values of a commitment. Added Sub Jobs will also appear on the Budget tool.
