Sync Procore Budgets with Spectrum Estimates

Objective

To learn about the two ways to sync a Procore budget with Spectrum.

Background

There are two ways to sync a Procore budget with Spectrum's Estimates feature: (1) You can export a Procore budget to Spectrum, or  (2) You can import a Spectrum estimate into a Procore budget. 

Things to Consider

• Required User Permission:
  • 'Standard' or 'Admin' on the company's ERP Integrations tool.
    AND
  • The person's account must be granted the 'Can Push to Accounting' privilege in the Company Directory. See Grant Accounting Approver Privileges.
• Prerequisites:
  • The Procore project must already be synced with Spectrum.

Steps

1. Determine where you want to create your budget: In Procore or in Spectrum. 
2. Choose the appropriate option:
   • If you have created your budget in Procore, see Export a Budget to Spectrum.
   • If you have created your job's estimate Spectrum, see Import a Budget from Spectrum.
