Integration by Procore: Re-import a Viewpoint® Spectrum® Prime Contract

Objective

To re-import a Viewpoint® Spectrum® prime contract using the Integration by Procore. 

Background

The integration between your prime contract in Viewpoint® Spectrum® is a one-way sync. This means that you can create a prime contract in Viewpoint® Spectrum® and then import it into Procore. If changes to the original contract value are needed, you will update the prime contract in Viewpoint® Spectrum® and then using the steps below re-import your latest prime contract data into Procore. 

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permission:
    • 'Admin' on the company's ERP Integrations tool.
      AND
    • 'Admin' on the project's Prime Contracts tool.
  • Prerequisites:
    The instructions below assume the following:
    • The Company level ERP Integrations tool has been configured to work with your company's Procore account. See Integration by Procore: Setup Guide.
    • The Viewpoint® Spectrum® prime contract that you want to import into Procore has been updated. For example, you've added one or more line item(s) or changed existing line item(s).
  • Additional Information:
    The Re-Import button is grayed out and dimmed when:
    • The prime contract is in unapproved state. 
    • The prime contract does not belong to a synced job.
    • The prime contract has inadvertently been added to two projects in your company's Procore account. 
    • The prime contact has already been synced and there are no new unsynced line items.
    • The prime contract has Prime Contract Change Orders (PCCOs) in the 'Approved' status. See Integration by Procore: Export a PCCO to Viewpoint® Spectrum®.
  • Limitations:
    • You can import one (1) Viewpoint® Spectrum® Prime Contract to one (1) Procore project. 

Steps

  1. Navigate to the company's ERP Integrations tool. 
  2. Click Prime Contracts. 
  3. Click Synced. 
  4. Locate the prime contract that you want to re-import in the Viewpoint® Spectrum® Prime Contracts Ready to be Imported list. 
  5. Click Re-Import.
