Tool Settings
- In order to set up a New Project in Procore you must have/or be nearly signature on a fully executed Owner Contract.
- Once the New Project Setup form has been sent to the appropriate in-office personnel:
- Your project will be created in the system
- You must forward a completed SOV set up document to the accounting department. They will create a Budget in Viewpoint and push the cost codes over to your project in Procore.
- Do add an additional cost code, please see the Budget Tool SOP.
- Your Project Assistant will copy over all standard documents with the Documents Tool
- Your Project Assistant will review the tool settings (gear icon) for each active tool to ensure settings match Brinkmann Standards. (Further details on each setting can be found on the independent landing pages for each tool.)
- Your Project Assistant will add the Architect and Owner information. You should NOT ever add a Prime Contract to your project. New projects are created in Vista/Viewpoint and exported to Procore.
- Project Assistant will need to confirm Owner and Architect information identically match what is shown on the Owner Contract.
- You will need to set your Financial markups.
