Weekly Foreman's Meetings
Objective
Foreman’s meetings are one of the best ways to communicate with our subcontractors onsite. Well planned out meetings help keep the project on schedule, resolve onsite issues quickly, and keep safety and quality strong on our jobsites.
Things to Consider
3 week look ahead schedules should be done prior to a foreman's meeting so that they can be distributed
A Zoom link should be provided for the meetings so that anyone who can’t make it in person can still attend.
Steps
· The agenda for these meetings can be found in the Procore Meetings tool > Subcontractor Meeting.
· Best practice is to have the Superintendent run the meeting, while a PC or PE takes minutes for the meeting.
· Visuals are always helpful during these meetings. Jobs with larger trailers can utilize TVs to pull up schedules, plans, photos during discussions. Jobs that do not have this setup can still utilize printed materials for the meeting.
· Minutes from Foreman Meetings should be distributed to all subcontractors along with copies of the most current look-a-head schedule
