-
How long do you need the tool and/or equipment?
-
Is there anything extra that you need for that tool and/or equipment?
Requesting Tools and Equipment
-
Call the Tool Manager or Equipment Administrator.
-
If you need multiple tools/equipment, send an email to the department or request on the Align app.
-
Proceed to tell the Tool/Equipment Department what is needed for the jobsite.
-
When the jobsite needs the tool/equipment as in future date or today’s date.
-
Remember the department does not have every tool/equipment on hand.
-
Giving future dates will ensure that the department has plenty of time to inquire the tool/equipment.
-
Identify the time frame in which the jobsite will need the tool/equipment (one week, the duration of the job, ext.)
-
The Request will need to have the JOB NAME (OR NUMBER) and COST CODE attached to it.
-
This will ensure that it’s billed in the correct job and correct cost code.
