QC Startup Meeting – Koester Internal

Objective 

The objective of this meeting is to determine what QC procedures need to be followed for the specific project to ensure it meets Koester, owner and inspection standards.  This includes but is not limited to: ProCore Inspections/Action Plans, Pre Install Meetings, 3rd Party Inspections, Total Station and other tool uses. 

Background 

A standard meeting agenda for this can be found in Procore>Meetings>QC Project Startup Meeting-Koester Internal.  Use this as a baseline, but tailor its content to the specific project. 

Things to Consider 

Project team members need to be familiar with Plans/Specs/Site Location/Funding Sources/Subcontractors, etc. prior to the start of this meeting for it to be effective.

Steps 

1. At the end of the initial Project Startup Meeting, schedule the QC Startup Meeting. 

2. Contact the local AHJ that will be performing inspections and review their inspection processes and note any atypical inspection procedures that will be required. 

3. Confirm Special Inspections agent and review scope of inspections. 

4. Review the contract documents and Project Startup Meeting minutes to finalize the QC Startup Meeting agenda. 

5. Hold team QC Startup Meeting.
