Objective
Equipment maintenance is to avoid machines and equipment breakdown and enhance performance. It includes equipment maintenance by performing several activities such as part replacement, repairing and servicing.

All maintenance needs to be ran through the Tool/Equipment Department.
Maintenance of Equipment
Responsibilities
Tool/Equipment Department: Perform routines maintenance and repairs.
Superintendent’s: Ensure adherence to the SOP and provide training.
Users: Report any issues or irregularities with equipment.
Maintenance Schedule
Daily: Visual inspections, cleaning and basic operational checks.
Weekly: More detailed inspections and maintenance tasks.
Monthly: Comprehensive checks and any necessary part replacements.
Annually: Full audits and servicing by qualified professionals.
Maintenance Procedures
Daily Maintenance:

Check for leaks, unusual noises, or vibrations.

Check fluids status (oil, hydraulic fluid, coolant, transmission fluid)

Check tracks and tires for any wear and tear.

Clean surfaces and removed debris
- Clean out tracks and front of the machine where attachments are connected at.
Weekly Maintenance:
