Objective

Construction office trailers provide a range of benefits that can increase job site efficiency. One of the most significant advantages is that they can be easily transported to the job site, allowing teams to have an office space that is on site of the project.

This can save time and improve communication among team members as they don’t have to travel far to access important information or discuss project details.

Things to Consider

Contact the Tool Department as soon as you know you will need a job trailer.

Consider the size of your team, the specific tasks they will be performing, and the equipment they will need to do their job.

Return job trailers back the way they went out to the jobsite.

Steps

Job Trailers

  • Smoking in job trailers is prohibited.
  • Any trailer returned smelling of smoke will incur a $200.00 clean fee.
  • Job trailers are not to be moved without notifying the Tool Department.
  •  Nothing is to be attached to the exterior of the job trailers.
  • Filters in the air conditioners/heaters must be cleaned monthly.  Contact department if you are experiencing any issue with heating or air conditioning units.
  • Fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and SDS books are not to leave the job trailer.
  • Trailer O&M manuals and office equipment are not to leave the job trailer.
  • Required postings (OSHA, EOE, etc.) are not to leave the job trailer. (see below for list of posters)
  • The job will be charged $250.00 if returned unclean.  Do not send materials back to the office that could be sent back from its original supplier.

  • Federal and State Mandate

·         IA Specific EEO Poster – State specific

o   Includes FLSA, FMLA, OSH Act, EEO and EPPA posters.

o   Include any current addenda.

SDS Located here - posted where SDS is located, as visible as possible.

Job Hazard Signs – As needed throughout site

o     OH Power Lines

o   PPE Required Signs

o   Emergency Exit

o   No Smoking
