Sanjeev Adhikari
BioDr. Sanjeev Adhikari joined KSU in 2019 and published 56 peer-reviewed research papers from 2019 to 2023. Dr. Adhikari is currently graduate program coordinator at the Department of Construction Management at Kennesaw State University. He completed Ph.D. degree in civil engineering, focusing on construction management from Michigan Technological University in 2008. Dr. Adhikari received two teaching-related awards: 1) ASC International Excellence Teaching Award and 2) Regional Teaching Awards from the Associated School of Construction (ASC) on April 4, 2023. Dr. Adhikari has received the Exceptional Contributions to Research Award. This recognition was awarded by Kennesaw State University’s President - Kathy 'Kat' Schwaig on December 4, 2023. He has an extensive teaching background with 20+ years of academic experience at different universities before coming to KSU. Students and departments have always praised him for his outstanding teaching and research excellence. To supplement his teaching and research, he has been involved in numerous professional societies, including ASCE, ACI, ASEE, ASC, ATMAE, and TRB. His research is primarily focused on digital construction and technology innovation tools for construction education, and his research output has been well disseminated as he has published 100+ journal papers and conference papers. His research interests are Digital Construction, BIM and VDC, Virtual Testing Lab, Construction Education, Creating Innovative Sustainable Materials, and Sustainability.
