Mohammed Hashem Mehany
BioDr. Mohammed Hashem Mehany is an Associate professor of Construction Management at Colorado State University. He received his Civil Engineering B.S from Arab Academy for Science and Technology (AAST) in Cairo, and his Construction Management MSc and interdisciplinary Construction and Civil Engineering Ph.D. from Colorado State University. During his professional career in the construction field, he worked as a field engineer and construction manager for several contracting companies as well as performing private work as a construction contractor; he was the Chairman and Partner of his own private contracting company in Egypt and worked for the facilities project management office (PMO) at Colorado State. Dr. Mohammed has more than 10 years of heavy civil construction industry experience and research productivity. Dr. Mohammed has executed several funded research projects and published in several research areas including but not limited to Infrastructure sustainability and resilience, risk management, life cycle costing, construction claims, construction safety, and lean construction. His research interests and efforts also include construction education on the undergraduate and graduate levels. |
