Add Phone Calls Entries (Android)

Objective

To add Phone Calls entries on an Android mobile device. 

Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions:
    •  'Standard' or 'Admin' permissions on the project's Daily Log tool.
  • Additional Information:

    • This action can be performed in offline mode (i.e. when an active network connection is not available on your mobile device). Tasks performed in offline mode will be synced with Procore once a network connection has been reestablished. 

    • Users can also automatically save a call's information to a Phone Calls entry from the Directory tool. See "Add a Phone Calls Entry from the Directory (Android)" in the See Also section below.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Daily Log tool on an Android mobile device.
  2. Tap the date to select the calendar day you want to create an entry for.
  3. Tap the Create icon-create-new-android.png icon.
  4. Tap Phone Calls.
  5. Tap into the following fields to enter the relevant information:
    1. Navigate to the Daily Log tool from your iOS mobile device.
    2. Select the date you want to add a log entry for.
    3. Tap Phone Calls.
    4. Tap + to add a new entry.
    5. Tap into the following fields to enter information:
      • Call From: Tap the field to enter the name of the person who called.
        Begin typing the person's name:
        • If the person has a user profile in the project, select their name to add them to the entry.
        • If the person is not listed:
          1. Tap Next on your device's keyboard.
            OR
            Tap outside of the field.
          2. Type the name of the person.
      • Call To: Tap the field to enter the name of the person who received the call.
        Begin typing the person's name:
        • If the person has a user profile in the project, select their name to add them to the entry.
        • If the person is not listed:
          1. Type the name of the person.
          2. Tap Next on your device's keyboard.
            OR
            Tap outside of the field.
      • Start Time: Tap this field to select the time the call started.
      • End Time: Tap this field to select the time the call ended.
      • Comments: Tap the Comments field to ender any comments about the call. 
    6. Tap Save.
