Things to Consider

  • Required User Permissions

  • Viewing a specific Specifications Area exports only the specifications related to that particular 'Specification Area'.

Steps

Open a Single Specification Section

  1. Navigate to the project's Specifications tool.

  2. Click Open next to the specification section.

  3. Take any of the following actions:

    • Click the X icon to exit the PDF viewer.

    • Click the download Icon Download Arrow2 icon to download the file.

    • Click the list Icon List View 1 icon to navigate to different divisions or sections.

    • Click the search Icon Search icon to perform a keyword search.

    • Click the zoom in Icon Zoom In Magnifying Glass or zoom out Icon Zoom Out Magnifying Glass icon to zoom in or out.

Open Entire Specification Book

  1. Navigate to the project's Specifications tool.

  2. Click Open Specifications Book.
    Note: This shows only the most recently published revision of each specification section.

  3. Take any of the following actions:

    • Click the X icon to exit the PDF viewer.

    • Click the download Icon Download Arrow2 icon to download the file.

    • Click the list Icon List View 1 icon to navigate to different divisions or sections.

    • Click the search Icon Search icon to perform a keyword search.

    • Click the zoom in Icon Zoom In Magnifying Glass or zoom out Icon Zoom Out Magnifying Glass icon to zoom in or out.

 Note
In the viewer, you can use keyboard shortcuts (such as pressing Left or Right arrow keys to change pages or Z to zoom) to navigate the document. Press Shift + ? to view the full hotkey menu. Click the keyboard icon in the bottom right corner (or press ?) to display the full keyboard shortcuts menu. See What keyboard shortcuts are available in the Unified Viewer?
