Add, Edit, or Delete the Project Message and Notes from the Project Overview

This feature is currently available to all customers in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States, and New Zealand. Users in other regions can access the Project Home. Please reach out to your Procore point of contact to request to enable this feature.

Objective

To add, edit, or delete the project message or project notes from the Project Overview.

Background

The Project Overview gives users access to important project information in one place.

The project message is visible to all users when viewing the Project Overview. The project notes display on the Projects tab in the company’s Portfolio tool and are visible to all Procore users with permissions to the project(s).

Things to Consider

Steps

To add or edit a Project Message and Notes:

  1. Click Project Tools and select Home to navigate to the Project Overview.
  2. Click Edit Message in the Project Message area.
  3. Enter the title and message for the project message.
  4. Enter the notes.
  5. Click Update.

To delete a project message or notes:

  1. Click Project Tools and select Home to navigate to the Project Overview.
  2. Click Edit Message in the Project Message area.
  3. Remove all text from the title, message, and notes boxes.
  4. Click Update.
