Delete a Workforce Request
Objective
To delete an individual workforce request in Workforce Planning.
Background
Workforce requests are an efficient way to let your team know that you need a workforce resource for a particular project. You can delete workforce requests if they are no longer needed.
Things to Consider
- Required User Permissions:
- 'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Workforce Planning tool and 'Admin' level permissions within the Workforce Planning tool. See Create Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning.
OR
'Read Only' level permissions or higher on the Workforce Planning tool with the 'View Request', 'Create/Edit/Delete Own Requests', and 'Edit/Delete Others Requests' granular permissions within the Workforce Planning tool. See Create Permissions Templates for Workforce Planning.

Steps
You can delete requests from three (3) places in Workforce Planning:
Delete a Workforce Request from the Request List
- Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
- Click Requests and select Requests List.
- Locate the workforce request you want to delete and click the gear icon.
- Click Delete.
- Click Are You Sure?
Delete a Workforce Request from Assignment Boards
- Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
- Click Assignments and select Boards.
- Locate the workforce request you want to delete.
- Hover over the request and click the gear icon
- Click Delete.
- Click Are You Sure?
Delete a Workforce Request from Assignment Gantt
- Navigate to the Company level Workforce Planning tool.
- Click Assignments and select Gantt.
- Locate the workforce request you want to delete and click the colored bar.
- Click Edit Request.
- Click Delete.
- Click Are You Sure?
