Resource requests efficiently inform your team that you need resources for a particular project. Create a resource request when you need a resource but aren't sure who to assign, or if you lack the permissions to create assignments yourself.
After a request is created, a resource can be assigned to fill that request. See Fill a Resource Request.
The request form loads the project’s start date, end date, daily start time, and daily end time by default.
To create requests and assignments for equipment, your project must have the following configurations:
The Equipment tool must be enabled for your project. See Add and Remove Project Tools.
Equipment records must be added to your project. See Add or Remove Equipment from Projects.
Data sync must be enabled for projects. See What is data syncing for Resource Planning?
