Resource requests let your team know that you need a resource for a particular project. You can create a resource request when you need a resource but aren't sure who to assign, or if you do not have permissions to create assignments yourself. You can edit resource requests at any time.
You can use statuses to manage user visibility of requests. See Configure Assignment and Request Statuses for Resource Planning.

Navigate to the Company level Resource Planning tool.
Click Assignments and select Gantt (Beta).
Follow steps to edit the request dates in one of the following ways:
Shorten or Extend Requests
On your keyboard, press and hold CTRL. Click the request bars you want to edit.
Note: Requests will move in the same direction by the same duration.
Hover over the last day of the request bar on the Gantt chart until you see the arrows.
Click the arrows and move the request end date using a drag-and-drop operation.
Move Request Dates
On your keyboard, press and hold CTRL. Click the request bars you want to edit.
Note: Requests will move in the same direction by the same duration.
Click and hold the request bar for one of the requests. Move the requests to the new date using a drag-and-drop operation.
Move Requests to New Projects or Categories
Press and hold the CTRL/CMD key on your keyboard and click each request on the list.
Drag the group to the new category or project and drop it onto the category or project name.
Navigate to the Company level Resource Planning tool.
Click Requests and select Requests List (Beta).
Mark the checkboxes for the requests you want to edit.
Note: You can only bulk edit labor requests.
Click the edit
icon.
Select the request information you want to edit:
Start Date. Enter the date the work assignment starts for the selected requests.
Start Time. Enter the time of day the work assignment starts for the selected requests.
End Date. Enter the date the work assignment ends for the selected requests.
End Time. Enter the time of day the work assignment ends for the selected requests.
Project. Select the project associated with the assignment(s) for the selected requests.
Status. Select a status to apply to the selected requests.
Job Title. Select the job title needed for the assignment associated with the selected requests. See Configure Job Titles for Resource Planning.
Percent Allocation. Enter the percent allocation for the requests. See What is a Resource Allocation Type?
Note: Alternatively, you can edit the 'Start Time' or 'End Time'.
Tags. Select the tags to apply to the selected requests. See Configure Tags for Resource Planning.
[Custom Fields]. Enter information for any custom fields configured for requests. See Configure Custom Fields for Resource Planning.
Click Save.
Navigate to the Company level Resource Planning tool.
Click Requests and select Requests List.
Mark the checkboxes for the requests you want to edit.
Click Batch Actions.

Select the request information you want to edit:
End Date. Enter the date the work assignment ends for the selected request(s).
End Time. Enter the time of day the work assignment ends for the selected request(s).
Job Title. Select the job title needed for the assignment associated with the selected request(s). See Configure Job Titles for Resource Planning.
Percent Allocation. Enter the percent allocation for the requests. See What is a Resource Allocation Type?

Project. Select the project associated with the assignment(s) for the selected request(s).
