View Assets in a 3D BIM Model

 BIM Models and Assets Integration

The BIM Models and Assets integration is generally available for customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

For customers in North America, the integration is available through a beta program. Please contact your Procore Point of Contact to enable it for your account.

Things to Consider

Prerequisites

  1. 3D Models must be uploaded to the Project Documents or Document Management tools.
    Note: Procore uses a new model processor. Older models must be reprocessed or re-uploaded and processed again in the Project level Documents or Document Management tool.

  2. Assets must be Imported from a 3D BIM Model.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Project level Assets tool.

  2. Click the model Cube view.

  3. Select the model from the drop-down menu to load its linked assets.

  4. Mark the checkbox for the asset to view it in the model.
    Note: You can view the asset's details by clicking the asset name link.
