Search for and Filter Specifications (iOS)
Objective
To search for and filter specifications on the Procore iOS app.

- If your project uses specification areas to organize specifications, you can only search specifications in one area at a time. See What are Specification Areas?
Steps
- Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.
- Tap the project's Specifications tool.
- See steps for the following options:
- Search Specification Numbers and Titles
- Search Text Within Specifications
- Filter Specifications by Division
Search Specification Numbers and Titles
- Tap the search bar.
- Use the 'Search Modifier' options to search for specification numbers or titles.
- Number:
- Tap + number to search for a specification number.
- Enter a specification number (for example, A1).
- Title:
- Tap + title to search for a specification title.
- Enter a specification title or a keyword that might be included in the title (for example, building).
- Number:
- Tap a specification to view its details.
Note: The search bar will be located at the bottom of the screen when viewing a specification. You can expand the search panel by tapping on the search bar or by swiping up. The search panel will automatically minimize after tapping a specification.
Search Text Within Specifications
You can search for text that appears within a specification.
- Tap the search bar.
- Enter a keyword or phrase you want to search for.
- As you type, search results will be displayed.
Note: Each specification that contains the search term will be displayed with the number of results that were found. - Tap on a specification to view the search term in the context of the specification.
Note: The search term will be highlighted in each area where it appears in the specification.
Filter Specifications by Division
- Tap the Filter
icon.
- Tap the division to filter the specifications.
- Tap Done.
