Add Locations (iOS)

Objective

To add new locations to a project from the Locations tool while using the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions
• You can only add locations on the Procore app if locations were originally created manually or imported. If locations were originally generated from Drawings, you can NOT add new locations using a mobile device.

Prerequisites

1. Locations were originally manually created or imported in one of the following ways:
   • Manually Create Locations
   • Import Locations Using the Procore Plug-In for Revit®
   • Perform a Multi-tiered Locations Import (Procore Imports)
   • Request a Multi-tiered Locations Import
2. Users must be permitted to create locations in tools outside the Location Manager. See Allow or Disallow Users to Create Locations within a Tool.

Steps

1. Navigate to the project's Locations tool using the Procore app on an iOS mobile device.
2. Tap the expand arrow  to navigate to the place in the hierarchy where you want to add a new location.
3. Tap New to create a location in that place in the hierarchy.
   OR
   Tap the add  icon next to a location to create a sub location of that location.
4. Enter the location name.
5. Tap Save Location.
